With all the rage about the newer restaurants in the Tulsa area that specialize in various flavors of chicken wings, one restaurant has stood the test of time by keeping it simple and delicious for as long as I can remember. The Right Wing, at 3420 E 11th St., combines a friendly laid back atmosphere with great wings and ice cold beer. A combination to make any man smile. They even add two pool tables and a juke box helping to make it one of Tulsa’s best places to have some delicious wings and good clean fun.
For me, it’s refreshing to see the owner/manager of a business sit and mingle with the customers as if they were old friends. At the Right Wing this seems to be the norm. Established in 1986, the owner and staff at the Right Wing do an excellent job making every customer feel welcome and leave satisfied.
Unlike some of the newcomers to the Tulsa Wing Scene, they specialize in just 5 delicious flavors of wings, Garlic, Barbeque, Mild, Medium and Nitro, making it easy to try them all and decide which flavor or flavors are your favorite. With the newer wing stops, I find myself hesitant to try many of the varieties, fearing disappointment.
Taking nothing away from any of the other guys, the Right Wing has the Right combination of food and fun making it a great place for a casual date and my favorite place for wings in T-town.

I visited Emilio’s for my Valentine’s Day celebration. The place was great. The atmosphere was classy and the food was “off the hook”. I had a Prawn Cocktail and Pork Tenderloin with Portebello Mushroom Sauce. Whoa!. I recommend this for any special occasion.
